Usually go here about once a month or so for lunch, but after today I will not be going back, nor do I recommend anybody go there for lunch.Somehow, they came up with the “brilliant” idea of doubling the price. And all they did is add a few minuscule bites of appetizers and an even tinier dessert. For the princely increase from 1200 yen to 2400 yen. And they now force you to choose from a very limited menu of either a pizza, with a soggy crust, or pasta. Nope. Will not go back. Plenty of other places to have lunch in Azabu Juban.
This is a terrible and unwelcoming place. They know nothing about Italian food and it’s very pricey for what you get, which is mediocre cafeteria food at the prices of a fancy restaurant. Some of the pasta dishes are around 3000 yen. The service is also terrible. I wanted to sit in one of the many spacious tables but the waiter insisted to sit me in the tiniest table possible in a corner, even though half of the restaurant was empty. I ordered some “pesce al forno” and it was dry and tiny. After having a terrible meal and 5000 yen later, I left hungry and went somewhere else for a pizza and warmer service. I’ll never ever go back!
